Chicago-based MC Lupe Fiasco is proving to be a good example to kids, speaking out against and steering away from the drugs and alcohol that traditionally prevail in the hip-hop scene. Nonetheless, Fiasco has been embraced by mainstream rappers like Jay-Z, who's described him as "a breath of fresh air," and helped to produce Fiaco's Grammy-winning debut album, "Food & Liquor," in 2006.

Coke, in appreciation of it's long relationship with local Boys & Girls Clubs of America, selected Fiasco to headline the "Coca-Cola Refresh Your Flow Tour," a free six-city US tour that wrapped up last month. Teens from each local Boys & Girls Club were selected for the opportunity to meet the star and attend the concerts as VIPs. Indeed, throngs of 12-17 year olds were treated to all the usual high energy that Fiasco brings to the stage, not to mention free Coca-Cola, pizza and souvenir photos.

LiveDaily photographer Peter Keeling attended the Aug. 29 Fillmore East show in New York City, and took some photos of Fiasco's performance.
