Featured Photos: Manu Chao at Stubb's, Austin Texas - Sept. 25, 2008
French born, multilingual rocker Manu Chao , makes his home in Spain, but to the delight of his wide swath of fans around the world, he spends a lot of time away touring with his current band, Radio Bemba Sound System.
Having had false starts with other bands since the mid '80s, Chao seems to have found his sweet spot, particularly with his latest album, last year's "La Radiolina" (translation from Italian "Little Radio" or "Pocket Radio"). The set marked Chao's first international release since 2001's "Proxima Estacion: Esperanza" ("Next Station: Hope").
Manu Chao and his band are heading for several cities in Mexico, having just played a show in Austin, TX. LiveDaily's Tim Mosenfelder was there and took some photos of the scene.
