Bow Wow walks for votes

Bow Wow will walk across the country as part of an upcoming, non-partisan, multi-state initiative designed to encourage people to participate in the November election.

Bow Wow and other "Walk Across America" participants will travel by foot and bus through several cities, including Philadelphia, Nashville, New York and Boston, making stops at various locations including colleges, universities and radio stations, according to a press release. The walk kicks off tomorrow (10/1) in Atlanta.

Bow Wow will be working with Declare Yourself and Black Youth Vote, two non-partisan organizations that will be assisting with voter registration at each stop.

In other Bow Wow news, the performer will release his sixth album, "New Jack City, Pt. II," in December. He also is co-staring in the film "Hurricane Season," which is scheduled to be released Christmas Day. On television, Bow Wow can be seen on the HBO series "Entourage," in the recurring role of stand-up comedian Charlie.
