Natalie Cole released from the hospital

Natalie Cole has been released from the hospital and is resting at her Los Angeles home, according to an Associated Press report.

A spokesperson for Cole said the Grammy-winning singer checked out of the hospital several days ago and is "feeling a lot better."

Cole, who announced in July that she was suffering from hepatitis C, reportedly has been receiving kidney dialysis; however, her current kidney problems are not related to her struggle with hepatitis.

Cole, who was hospitalized Sept. 12, has canceled all her singing appearances this month. It is unknown when she will return to the road in support of her new album, "Still Unforgettable."
