Britney Spears documentary to debut in November
A new Britney Spears documentary will air exclusively on MTV Nov. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, according to a press release. For the 90-minute film, "Britney: For the Record," Spears granted filmmakers behind-the-scenes access to her day-to-day life, including the recording of her new album and the preparation for her appearance on the 2008 "MTV Video Music Awards."
The documentary was shot over three months and no topic was off limits, according to representatives for the pop star.
"So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know," Spears said in a statement. "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."
