Carlos Santana is a self-made man who never forgot where he came from. Still making his home in San Francisco, where he launched his career in the early '60s, the rock icon seems to be on a mission to play with everyone on the planet, be they friends or friends he hasn't met yet. And who wouldn't want to play with him? He was listed at No. 15 on Rolling Stone's 2003 list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Players, and he's amassed a staggering number of Grammy Awards.

Among the list of past Santana collaborators are Willie Nelson , Booker T, Buddy Miles , Angelique Kidjo, Jennifer Lopez , Jose Feliciano, Joss Stone and Steven Tyler , just to name a few.

LiveDaily's Tim Mosenfelder attended Santana's show last weekend in Concord, CA, and took photos of the man and his beloved band.
