David Cook kicks off album release with a fan appreciation show

David Cook will celebrate the Nov. 18 release of his self-titled debut album with a show at Hard Rock Cafe New York, according to a press release.
Wristbands for the show will be distributed with the purchase of the album beginning at 8 a.m. that morning at the Times Square Virgin Megastore location.
No other tickets will be available for the concert, which will be followed immediately by an album-signing event.
The first single from the "American Idol" winner, "Light On," was released in late September. The song was co-written by Chris Cornell and Brian Howes.
