Deftones, Incubus, Taproot To Tour North America In The Fall
Less than one month after completing its summer U.S. tour, the Deftones have announced plans to set out on a North American fall tour with Incubus and Taproot . The group’s latest jaunt will kick off on Oct. 13 in Seattle. Confirmed tour dates run through Nov. 24, but the tour is expected to run into December, according to tour organizers.
Deftones wrapped up their summer U.S. tour in August, then headed to Europe for a number of festival dates that ended with a Sept. 6 performance in Spain, according to the group’s official website. While in the U.K., the group attended British metal magazine Kerrang’s annual awards ceremony, where its latest album “White Pony” scored the Best Album honor.
Both Incubus and Taproot recently finished their runs on the Ozzfest tour, which came to an end on Sept. 2. Incubus is touring in support of its latest full-length album “Make Yourself,” released last October, and “When Incubus Attacks,” released last month. The latter disc is a 6-song, limited-edition EP of which only 100,000 were made, according to the band’s official website.
Taproot is touring in support of its debut album “Gift.” The group opened a number of club dates for Static X this summer during off days on the Ozzfest tour.
