Original Jane's Addiction members book new show

Jane's Addiction , whose original members have reconvened twice this year for their first performances together since 1991, have booked another club gig, and continue to hint at a larger tour.

The quartet--frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery--plan to hit the stage tomorrow night (11/19) at El Cid in Silverlake, CA, according to Avery's blog, which goes on to say that tickets are $9 at the door, and that none will be sold in advance.

"There will only be room for a couple of hundred of you all this time," Avery wrote. "I know I said a couple of posts ago that we would eventually make room for you all. I still believe that is the case. But I think 'eventually' is the operative word there. ... Rehearsals have been sounding really solid. Should be a good night."

Last month, Avery gave hope to fans pining for an ongoing reunion of the group's original lineup.

"We never know what the future has in store for us, especially with this band," he wrote. "But, at least right now, Jane's Addiction has a future that one would have to call somewhat promising. We are a great band."
