Duran Duran, Mike Ness cancel dates

Duran Duran canceled last night's (12/1) planned show in San Antonio, TX, and also called off tonight's (12/2) scheduled show in Dallas, because of illness.

According to a statement posted on the band's website, band member Nick Rhodes "is still suffering from a very serious inner ear infection and doctors have told him that he is still not allowed to travel."

The dates won't be rescheduled; refund information will be posted at the website.

In other cancellation news, Mike Ness and his band won't be playing at Bakersfield, CA's Crystal Palace as scheduled tonight. The solo gig by the Social Distortion frontman has been called off because he is suffering from the flu.

The show has been rescheduled for Dec. 8.
