Initial Bonnaroo details unveiled

Organizers have nailed down the dates for next year's eighth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and the first batch of tickets will soon hit the box office.

Set to take place June 11-14, the four-day festival will once again be held at the same farm in Manchester, TN (60 miles southeast of Nashville) where it has take place in years past. A ticket presale for the event begins Thursday (12/4) and runs through the end of the month; tickets sold during this time period will be "specially priced," and buyers will have the option to pay for their general-admission tickets via a payment plan comprising five $50 installments plus "applicable fees," according to a press release.

A promotional video for the presale featuring comedian Lewis Black is included below.

Performers for the 2009 Bonnaroo festival have not yet been named; organizers plan to roll out the lineup in late-Jaunary/early February, according to the event's website.
