Yo Gabba Gabba! album features eclectic collection of artists

Music from the Nick Jr. television series "Yo Gabba Gabba!," including songs from The Ting Tings , The Aquabats and The Roots , has been made available exclusively at Apple's iTunes store, according to a press release.

The album, which was released in October, also features music from The Red House Painters, Tahiti 80, The Salteens and Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon, as well as Biz Markie, who hosts a regular feature on the show: "Biz's Beat of the Day."

Musical artists on the iTunes album all have appeared as special guests on the show, which was co-created by The Aquabats lead singer, Christian Jacobs. In a statement, SVP of Nickelodeon Music Doug Cohen said, "Music is at the heart of 'Yo Gabba Gabba!' and this album is yet another way for kids and their parents to enjoy and experience the show together."

Nickelodeon also has released the full-length season one DVD debut, "Yo Gabba Gabba!: The Dancey Dance Bunch!," which features four new-to-DVD episodes and special guest appearances by Grammy-winner Mya and award-winning actor Elijah Wood.
