John Mayer [ tickets ]'s 2nd Annual Holiday Acoustic Revue concert, which this year will benefit Toys for Tots and the Los Angeles Food Bank, will be held Saturday (12/6) at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater.

For Mayer, who will perform solo acoustic, the concert will be a celebration of the holiday season and his five recent Grammy nominations, according to a press release.

Grammy-nominated Best New Artist Adele [ tickets ] will open the show.

In other news, 2009 has Mayer joining the 2nd annual voyage aboard the Mayercraft Carrier--Carnival Cruise Line's newest and biggest ship, The Splendor--which will sail from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, from March 27-31. Mayer, O.A.R., and Guster are among the bands expected to perform.
