Michael Jackson's glitter glove on the auction block
Michael Jackson 's famous glitter glove will be among the possessions the self-proclaimed King of Pop is selling as part of a five-day auction scheduled to begin April 21 live on Auction Network, according to an Associated Press report.
Jackson, who has been plagued by financial troubles since he was acquitted of child-molestation charges in 2003, plans to auction more than 2,000 items, including the gates to his Neverland Ranch. His possessions will be on display before the auction begins. Bids will be accepted in person and online.
The 50-year-old Jackson plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to MusiCares, a charitable organization founded by the Recording Academy to help musicians in need.
