Free Fall Out Boy concert quashed

Fall Out Boy 's planned acoustic performance Monday (12/15) in New York City's Washington Square Park was stopped by the police because the band had not received the proper permits for a public performance, according to The New York Times.

Pete Wentz reportedly told the crowd the band was not being allowed to play and apologized before the group performed an acoustic version of its song "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy."

The show had been planned to promote the band's new album, "Folie a Deux," which was released yesterday (12/16).
