Several people shot following E-40 show in Denver
At least five people were injured in a shooting Friday night (12/26) outside of a Denver club following an E-40 concert, according to The Denver Post.
One person remained in critical condition Saturday (12/27) after being shot outside Vinyl nightclub in downtown Denver. Four other people were treated and released.
A security officer who works at a hotel near the club said he later saw at least four people with gunshot wounds on various street corners in the neighborhood, according to the paper.
Denver police reportedly are unsure of what caused the altercation or the identities of the assailants.
The neighborhood reportedly has a violent history. Two years ago on New Year's Eve, an altercation outside of a club across the street from Vinyl led to the drive-by shooting that killed Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams, according to The Post.
