AFI [ tickets ] is accepting video submissions from fans who want to sing on the band's new album, according to a press release.

The band is asking those interested to submit a video, maximum two minutes in length, providing personal background, interests and other information that will prove why he or she should be chosen to be part of the new AFI album.

Submissions are being accepted at Begintransmission.afireinside.net through Jan. 4. The band will watch every entry and will choose five winners to sing on a track from their as-yet-untitled eighth record, according to a press release. One additional winner will be chosen by AFI fans who will be able to vote on submissions posted on the band's website.
