Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill to sing at Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson and Faith Hill will perform Feb. 1 at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, FL, according to a report at Billboard.com.

Hudson--singing the National Anthem--will be making her first public appearance since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in their Chicago home Oct. 28.

Hill, who sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXXIV in Atlanta, will sing "America the Beautiful" in Tampa. The country-music beauty joins the select group of Vicki Carr, Ray Charles and Alicia Keys as the only artists to perform "America the Beautiful" at the mega-sporting event.

As previously announced, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
