Teen Star Aaron Carter To Tour Wal-Mart Stores
Aaron Carter, the 12-year-old brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, will open a 13-city tour of Wal-Mart stores on Sept. 20 in Little Rock, Ark. Each tour stop will feature a live performance by Aaron with dancers, followed by an autograph session.
At all but one of the tour stops, Aaron will take the stage at 4 p.m. The exception will be the stop in Tampa, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The title track from Aarons forthcoming full-length album Aarons Party (Come Get It) is at No. 4 on SoundScans sales charts, and at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, according to Jive Records. The album, due in stores on Sept. 26, is Aarons first for Jive, the home of Backstreet Boys , Britney Spears and N Sync.
Aarons home video Aarons Party (Come and Get It)--The Videos was released last month, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Music Videos chart.
His upcoming television appearances include: FOX Family's "The HiFi Room" (9/23), "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" (9/26), Nickelodeon's "Slimetime Live" (9/27), Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (11/23) and "Good Morning, America" (11/24).
According to his official website, Aaron's Nickelodeon special on Aug. 12 was the highest rated music special ever on the network.
