Hawthorne Heights ink multi-faceted deal with Wind-up

Hawthorne Heights have entered into a broad-based agreement with four subsidiaries of Wind-up Entertainment that includes recording, merchandising, publishing and artist development, according to a press release.

Under the new deal, the band's future recordings will be released by Wind-up Records; merchandise at online, retail and touring points of sale will be handled by Wind-up's Pronto Merch company; publishing will be administered by the company's Sakyamuni Music Publishing, LLC; and touring and appearances will be handled by Wind-up Artist Development Corporation.

Hawthorne Heights reportedly had been fighting a legal battle against former label Victory for breach of contract. The label and the band resolved the issue last summer, with Victory releasing "Fragile Future," the group's third and final album on the Victory label.

The band's Wind-up debut is due out later this year.
