Saving Abel guitarist accused of sexual assault on minor
Saving Abel's Jason Null and a guitar tech from Florida were charged Friday night (2/6) in Oakland, CA, on felony sex charges involving a minor. Null and Brandon J. Danger were accused of forced oral copulation with a 17-year-old girl, according to The San Jose Mercury News.
The girl and her 15-year-old brother allegedly were inside the Oracle Arena during an Avenged Sevenfold show last Tuesday (2/3) when she was approached by Danger after Saving Abel's set. He asked the girl if she wanted to be in a rock video, and she was led to believe the video was being shot on the band's tour bus parked outside the arena, police said.
Once inside the bus, the girl allegedly was forced to commit the sex act. After saying she wanted to stop, she was allowed to leave the bus, police said.
Null and Danger, who were arrested at the scene, claimed the sex act was consensual, according to the Mercury News.
Null pleaded not guilty of forced oral copulation and forced oral copulation on a minor at his Friday arraignment and was released on $90,000 bail. Danger remained in custody on $60,000 bail.
