Ozzy recording new album, Ozzfest on hold

Ozzy Osbourne is in a Los Angeles studio at work on his 10th studio album, which he's co-producing with Kevin Churko, according to a press release.

The forthcoming set will be the follow-up to 2007's Top 10 release, "Black Rain."

The new album is expected to be in stores sometime around Thanksgiving, according to Ozzy's camp, and he doesn't plan to tour until the new material is in stores. That means that Ozzfest will be taking the year off.

In other news, "The Osbournes: Reloaded," a new TV show featuring the Osbourne family--Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack--is expected to launch this spring on the Fox network.
