Born and raised in the town of Eureka, CA, Grammy nominated Sara Bareilles is beginning to strike gold with her music. Not surprisingly, Bareilles was voted "Most Talented" in high school, since the singer/songwriter not only has a vocal range that swings from contralto to mezzo-soprano, but she also plays piano and guitar.

Her 2007 album, "Little Voice," was a smash hit, selling a reported 16,000 units during its first week out. Helped by the hit single "Love Song," the set has since been certified gold by the RIAA.

Bareilles is currently on tour, hitting up clubs, theaters and taverns around the US and Canada though early March. LiveDaily photographer Christopher Owyoung attended her show at New York's Joe's Pub last night (2/17), and here are some of his best shots.
