Outside Lands bash to continue at Golden Gate Park

Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival will have its second run this summer in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.

The three-day event, scheduled for August 28-30, will bring more than 100 acts to the historic site along the shore of the Pacific Ocean. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the city's Recreation and Parks Department, according to the festival's website.

This year's roster and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks.

Created in part by the co-founders of the Bonnaroo Music Festival, the inaugural Outside Lands event last summer marked the first multi-day festival in Golden Gate Park's history, and included performances from Radiohead, Tom Petty, Beck, Jack Johnson, M. Ward, Bon Iver and dozens of others.
