Michael Jackson may be returning to the stage

Michael Jackson is planning to announce a series of concerts to be held this summer at London's 02 Arena, according to reports by several British media outlets.

A spokesperson for Jackson said the reports were speculation. However, she confirmed that a special announcement about the troubled King of Pop would be made Thursday (3/5) at the arena, formerly known as the Millennium Dome, according to an Associated Press report.

Jackson's last live performance in Britain was at the 2006 World Music Awards, where he left the stage after only a few lines of "We Are the World."
