Michael Jackson plans final London gigs

Michael Jackson revealed a 10-show schedule at London's O2 Arena this summer and claims "this is it" for the British city.

In a press conference held at the venue Thursday (3/5), the King of Pop announced that he'll perform the songs his fans want to hear beginning July 8--the only confirmed date at this time.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale March 13 at michaeljacksonlive.com. Fans will be required to register for a password, which then gives them the opportunity to buy a maximum of four tickets each.

Jackson, who last toured the world back in 1997 in support of "HIStory" and "Blood on the Dance Floor," last performed at the 2006 World Music Awards in Britain. During that appearance, the pop star left the stage after singing just a few lines of "We Are the World."

In the meantime, Julien's Auctions next month will host the five-day sale of a slew of Jackson's personal belongings. Among the items slated to go are his American Music Award for "Thriller," a pair of rhinestone-trimmed socks from 1981 and a Rolls Royce limousine, among more than 2,000 other personal items.
