Indigo Girls lengthen 'Poseidon' run

The Indigo Girls have extended their spring and summer tour behind their upcoming release, "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug."

The updated trek now boasts shows in a total of 35 cities throughout the nation, beginning April 4 in Palm Springs, CA, then heading to the East Coast and the Midwest before winding along the West Coast and through the South. The added dates keep the duo--Emily Saliers and Amy Ray--on the road through mid-July, with the final stop currently slated for July 17 at Grass Valley, CA's California World Fest. The full list of dates is below.

The folk rockers will be touring in support of "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug," their 11th studio album together and the first on their own label, IG Recordings. The new release drops March 24.

Two tracks from the album, "What Are You Like" and "Sugar Tongue," are available for preview at the band's MySpace page.
