The Beastie Boys [ tickets ]' remastered, expanded reissue of 1992's "Check Your Head" will be available in stores April 7. Pre-orders for the album, which is being released in multiple configurations, begin March 30 at at the group's website, according to a press release.

The multiple configurations range from a high-quality, DRM-free digital download to an ultra-deluxe four-LP, 180-gram, high-quality vinyl version that will be packaged in a fabric-wrapped hardcover coffee-table bookcase and limited to 2,000 copies.

The news of the album's release date coincides with the announcement that Beastie Boys will headline the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 24. It will be the first time the band has ever headlined the historic Los Angeles venue.

The band, which also is confirmed to appear at this summer's Bonnaroo festival, plans to release a new album later this year.
