Hall of Fame presenters announced
Flea , Jimmy Page and Eminem will be among the presenters for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony April 4 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland. In the performer inductee category, Metallica will be introduced by Flea, Run-DMC by Eminem and Jeff Beck by Page. Also in the performer inductee category, Bobby Womack will be welcomed by Ron Wood, and Little Anthony & the Imperials by Smokey Robinson.
Paul Shaffer, Max Weinberg and Garry Tallent also will appear at the ceremony to induct honorees in the sidemen category, including Elvis Presley's drummer DJ Fontana and bassist Bill Black, as well organist Spooner Oldham, who has worked with Percy Sledge, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin and Neil Young, among others.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has not confirmed a presenter for inductee Wanda Jackson, who is being honored for her early influence.
