Mile High Music Fest lineup, dates unveiled
Tool , The Fray and Widespread Panic will headline the second annual Mile High Music Festival , which is set for July 18-19.
The weekend event will take over Dick's Sporting Goods Park just outside Denver with two main stages, featuring performances from Ben Harper and Relentless7, Incubus, G. Love & Special Sauce, Buddy Guy, Ani DiFranco, Gov't Mule, Paulo Nutini, 3OH!3, John Butler, Gomez, The Black Keys, The Wailers and India.Arie. More artist announcements are expected as the event nears.
The Mile High Festival attracted more than 90,000 fans last year, becoming Colorado's largest music and arts festival. The massive summertime crowds of 2008 influenced this year's setup, leading to the addition of more free water stations and misting tents.
Tickets go on sale April 3 via the festival's website, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the city's Quality Community Foundation, a non-profit that provides services to area residents in need.
