Album Chart: "Now 30" takes top slot

The 30th installment of the "Now That's What I Call Music!" compilation series leads a slew of new releases into the Top 10 on the US album chart this week.

With first-week sales of 146,000 copies, "Now 30" makes its debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. The set--which features 20 previously released hits from artists including Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, Pink, Rihanna, Nickelback, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban--managed to stay about 7,000 copies ahead of the " Hannah Montana : The Movie" soundtrack, which enters the chart at No. 2. (Billboard bases its flagship album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail data.)

Meanwhile, the "Twilight" soundtrack stays put at No. 3 with sales of 102,000 copies, and Kelly Clarkson 's "All I Ever Wanted" drops from No. 1 to No. 5 with 52,000 copes. Sandwiched between those two albums is Keri Hilson 's debut set, "In a Perfect World," which debuts at No. 4 on sales of 94,000 copies.

Rounding out the Top 10 are U2 's "No Line on the Horizon" at No. 6 with 51,000 copies sold; Lady GaGa's "The Fame" at No. 7 with 45,000; Papa Roach 's "Metamorphis," which bows at No. 8 with 44,000; Jim Jones ' "Pray IV Reign" debuting at No. 9 with 43,000; and Martina McBride 's "Shine," which enters the chart at No. 10 on sales of 41,000.
