Jimmy Eat World readies live digital download

The final night of Jimmy Eat World 's recent "Clarity x 10" tour was recorded for a digital-only release that will be available April 7 exclusively at the band's website, according to a press release. The tour was a series of 10 shows during which the band commemorated the 10th anniversary of its 1999 album "Clarity" by playing the record in its entirety each night.

"Clarity Live," which was recorded March 7 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ, will be available in multiple formats ranging from DRM-free MP3 to 24 bit/48K sample rate WAV files. The online release also will feature two bonus tracks recorded during the encore of the Tempe show, as well as a digital booklet featuring photos from the tour.

To celebrate the release of "Clarity Live" the band will stream an encore performance of the album live April 7 from a recording studio in Tempe. Jimmy Eat World previewed the "Clarity x 10" outing in a similar way, streaming live video of one of the tour's rehearsals.
