'Today' show scores major headliners for concert series

No Doubt will kick off NBC's "Today" show concert series May 1 at New York's Rockefeller Center.

The 14th consecutive year of Friday morning concerts also will feature performances by Jennifer Hudson , the Dave Matthews Band , the Jonas Brothers , Taylor Swift , The Fray , Rascall Flatts, Fall Out Boy , The Black Eyed Peas, New Kids on the Block and Jason Mraz . "Today" concert planners also expect to present several yet-to-be-announced surprise guests, according to EW.com.

The concerts, which begin at 7 a.m., are free. However, to secure a good spot, fans may need to wake well before sunrise, since the crowd begins to gather hours before show time.
