The Mars Volta's new album drops in June

The Mars Volta will release its fifth studio album, "Octahedron," June 23, according to a press release. The album follows last year's "The Bedlam In Goliath," which featured the Grammy Award-winning song "Wax Simulacra."

The band is confirmed to appear at two major festivals this year: Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN, and the second annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco. Further US dates will be announced as they are confirmed.
