Seattle makes Noise For The Needy

Seattle-based non-profit Noise For The Needy is once again raising money for charitable causes with a summer festival that will feature several acts including Art Brut , 1990s and The Constantines. The benefit fest, which will take place June 10-14 at several Seattle venues, also will feature Grand Archives, Crystal Antlers and Throw Me The Statue, according to a press release.

The proceeds from this year's NFTN festival will go to Transitional Resources, a mental-health center and residential program located in West Seattle.

This Saturday (4/18), NFTN will begin raising money for its 2009 event with a "Festival Season Kickoff Party" at Woodshed Studios. The show will feature DJ Chrispo (Studio 66), Truckasaurus, Erik Blood, Exohxo, Origami Ghosts and Solomon Giorgio.
