Zakk Wylde's band Black Label Society formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, and to date the group has gone through a few lineup changes. Perhaps explaining why Wylde reportedly played nearly every instrument on his band's first four albums himself--guitars, piano and bass guitar, as well as vocals.

Multitasking seems to suit Wylde's personality. In addition to his current tour with Black Label Society, he's also in the process of recording a new album with Ozzy Osbourne , for whom he's wielded his axe on-and-off since 1989. On the side, Wylde intends to write songs for a forthcoming Black Label Society release planned for later this year. In an interview with LiveDaily last month, he said, "You always get inspired when you get in the studio because the bottom line is, everything sounds good, the sky's the limit...."

LiveDaily photographer Peter Keeling attended the Black Label Bash at the House of Blues in Boston on Monday night (4/13), and here are some of his photos.
