Soundset fest details announced

Atmosphere and The Pharcyde will be among the acts performing at the 2009 Soundset Festival May 24 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN, according to a press release. The festival--which will feature live music, a DJ tent with a national b-boy/b-girl battle, a slow-and-low custom-car show and skateboard demos--also will welcome to the stage MF Doom, Brother Ali, Freeway and Immortal Technique, among many others.
This year, the festival, described by organizers as the official Midwest kick-off of the summer, will offer after-party and VIP-ticket options. For additional information, including the latest in performer updates, visit the official Soundset website.
