Weekend Ticketing: Aerosmith & ZZ Top, U2, AC/DC, Keith Urban, John Legend

Fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and ZZ Top launch a co-headlining tour on Aerosmith's home turf in the Boston area June 16, and stops are planned in about 30 cities through mid-September.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (4/18) for the tour's stops in Atlanta; Kansas City, MO; Cuyahoga Falls, OH; East Troy, WI (via Live Nation); Mansfield, MA (via Live Nation); Bristow, VA (via Live Nation); Burgettstown, PA (via Live Nation); Uncasville, CT; Virginia Beach, VA (via Live Nation); Atlanta; Irvine, CA (via Live Nation); Chicago (via Live Nation); and Saint Paul, MN.

Irish rockers U2 have their sights set on a massive world tour as they back their latest chart-topping album, "No Line on the Horizon." The run, which is booked into stadiums, will make its way to the US this fall.

Tickets roll out Friday (4/17) in Raleigh, NC; and Norman, OK. A Saturday (4/18) on-sale is in place for Las Vegas (via UNLVtickets.com), while Monday (4/20) on-sales are set in Arlington, TX; Houston, TX; and Glendale, AZ.

Rock legends AC/DC have resurrected last fall's "Black Ice World Tour" with plans to hit stadiums and arenas across the US this summer. The run comes on the heels of the October release of "Black Ice," the band's first new studio effort in more than eight years. The new album debuted at No. 1 on the album charts in 29 countries, including the US.

Tickets hit the box office Saturday (4/11) in Foxborough, MA; East Rutherford, NJ; Grand Rapids, MI; and Tacoma, WA. Tickets go on sale Sunday (4/12) in San Jose, CA.

Armed with material from his recently released, chart-topping album, "Defying Gravity," Keith Urban will hit the road this spring and summer for outing dubbed the "Escape Together World Tour." The country star will launch US portion of the trek with a May 7-8 engagement in Uncasville, CT, and stops are planned in about 30 cities through August.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (4/18) in Indianapolis and Tacoma, WA.

Soul singer John Legend has scheduled a few mid- and late-summer dates as he continues to support his latest smash, last fall's "Evolver." The set surfaced last October and debuted in the Top 5 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the No. 1 slot on the magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Tickets hit the box office Friday (4/17) for Legend's engagements in Columbia, MD; Albany, NY; and Elizabeth, IN.
