Taking Back Sunday feels 'New Again'

Taking Back Sunday 's fourth studio album, "New Again," will hit stores June 2--marking what the band says is a renewed enthusiasm that was partially inspired by the addition of a new band member, guitarist Matt Fazzi.

In a statement, vocalist Adam Lazarra said the band considered various album titles, but "New Again" always seemed to be at the top of the list because TBS "really does feel like a new band."

"Bringing Fazzi in, the excitement and the drive to get out there and play for people is just where it was with our first record," Lazarra said. "It's like that [new band] energy, it's like we bottled it."

The album's first single, "Sink Into Me," is now available at Apple's iTunes Music Store. The title track can be heard at the band's MySpace page. The group also is offering a free MP3 of the title track at the recently launched TBS website.

The band's upcoming plans include a May 3 performance opening for No Doubt at New Jersey's annual two-day Bamboozle festival. The May 2-3 festival at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford also will feature Fall Out Boy, Third Eye Blind, Rise Against, The Used and many more.
