Beach Boys ready collection of love songs

The Beach Boys kick off the summer with a collection of love songs set to be released May 19. The CD, "Summer Love Songs," will feature 20 tracks, including one track previously unreleased in the US and long out of print in the UK, according to a press release.

Several of the songs in the set have been remixed in stereo, three for the first time. Two of the new stereo mixes, for "Don't Worry, Baby" and "Why Do Fools Fall In Love," have been created from newly-recovered analog multi-track masters that had gone missing from a Los Angeles studio after they were first recorded in the mid-1960s.

The Beach Boys plan to support the release with a summer-long tour.
