Green Day [ tickets ] is getting ready to hit the road in support of the band's forthcoming album, "21st Century Breakdown," which lands in stores Tuesday (5/15). The pop-punk trio's soon-to-be-released eighth studio effort, which has been in the works since early 2006, has already spawned the Top 10 single "Know Your Enemy."

Tickets roll out Friday (5/8) for performances in Vancouver, British Columbia; Edmonton, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Fargo, ND; Philadelphia (via the Wachovia Spectrum's website and box office); Tampa; St. Louis; Kansas City; and Phoenix.

Saturday (5/9) on-sales are set for Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal; Washington, DC; Miami; New Orleans; and Denver.

While the ups and downs of the in-progress competition continue, many of the stars of this season's "American Idol" series have their sights set on a lengthy arena tour of North America this summer. The " American Idols Live [ tickets ]" outing--which will feature this season's Top 10 finalists--is scheduled to hit 50 cities from early July through mid-September.

Bob Dylan [ tickets ] will be in stellar company when he kicks off the latest edition of his Ballpark Tour, which hits minor-league baseball stadiums across the US this summer. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be joined by Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp on the trip, which gets underway in early July.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (5/9) for shows in Aberdeen, MD; and Norfolk, VA.

Pink [ tickets ] will embark on her first US tour since 2006 later this year as she backs her fifth studio album, "Funhouse," which surfaced last October and peaked at No. 2 in the US. The outing gets underway in mid-September, and dates so far are lined up through early October.

Tickets go on sale Friday (5/8) for her stops in Dallas and Boston, and on Saturday (5/9) for her visit to Toronto.

Melissa Etheridge [ tickets ] is gearing up for a summer outing that kicks off in mid-June. Dubbed the "Live & Alone 2009" tour, the outing will feature the singer/songwriter performing--you guessed it--all by her lonesome.

Tickets go on sale Friday (5/8) for Etheridge's show in Hampton Beach, NH, and on Saturday (5/9) for performances in Cohasset and Hyannis, MA.
