Daughtry unveils album title, debuts first single
Chris Daughtry announced yesterday (5/7) that his band's second album, scheduled to be released July 14, will be titled "Leave This Town," according to a press release.
The reveal came just one day after the band debuted the album's first single, "No Surprise," on Wednesday night's "American Idol" telecast.
During the show, the season-five finalist said his "Idol" fans have been so loyal that he wanted to give them the first listen to the new song.
The talent competion's most successful rocker also was presented with a platinum record during the broadcast in honor of selling more than 5 million copies of his debut album.
