Album Chart: Chrisette Michele lands No. 1 debut

"Epiphany," the sophomore set from Chrisette Michele , takes over the top spot on the US album chart this week, and, in doing so, has established a low-water mark for a No. 1 debut.

With 83,000 copies sold during its debut week, "Epiphany" claims the simultaneous honor of notching the lowest sales total for a No. 1-debuting album in the 18-year history of Nielsen SoundScan, according to Billboard, and is one of only three albums to debut with first-week sales of less than 100,000 copies; Johnny Cash's "American V: A Hundred Highways" debuted at No. 1 after selling 88,000 copies in 2006, and the posthumous Notorius B.I.G. hits collection "#1's" moved 99,000 in 2005, Billboard reported.

Meanwhile, the " Hannah Montana : The Movie" soundtrack remains at No. 2 on sales of 81,000 copies; Ciara 's "Fantasy Ride" debuts at No. 3 with just shy of 81,000; Rascal Flatts ' "Unstoppable" climbs one spot to No. 4 with 58,000; and Bob Dylan 's "Together Through Life," last week's No. 1 entry, slips four places to No. 5 with 51,000.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Lady GaGa's "The Fame" at No. 6 with 41,000 copies scanned; Rick Ross ' "Deeper Than Rap" at No. 8 with 35,000; Ben Harper and Relentless 7's "White Lies for Dark Times" at No. 9 with 34,000; and the "Twilight" soundtrack at No. 10 with 32,000.
