Fleetwood Mac nixes two Canadian shows

Fleetwood Mac canceled two dates in Canada this week--Tuesday night (5/12) in Calgary and last night (5/13) in Edmonton--because a band member reportedly fell ill.

The band's Tuesday night show, scheduled to take place at the Pengrowth Saddledome, was called-off just hours before Fleetwood Mac was scheduled to take the stage, according to the Calgary Herald. A rescheduled date is expected to be announced soon.

The band's May 13 show at Rexall Place in Edmonton also was canceled because of an undisclosed illness, CBC News reported. That show also is expected to be rescheduled.

The name was of the ill band member was not revealed, however several media outlets speculated that it was singer Stevie Nicks who was not feeling well.

The band is scheduled to return to the concert stage Friday (5/14) night at GM Place in Vancouver.
