Monolith Fest unveiling lineup via Facebook, Twitter

Organizers of this year's Monolith Festival are releasing details about this year's lineup via social networking sites Facebook and Twitter beginning today (5/18), and have unveiled Girl Talk and Starf---er as the first pair of confirmed acts.

Acts for the third-annual indie-rock and hip-hop related festival, set for Sept. 12-13 at Morrison, CO's Red Rocks Amphitheatre, will be announced two or three acts per day over the next 12 business days . The full lineup of more than 50 acts will be revealed by mid-June, according to a press release.

"We've always taken a personal and creative approach to building Monolith," festival co-owner Matt Fecher said in a press release. "It's just more fun that way."

Music fans can be among the first to learn the lineup by following Monolith Festival on Twitter or becoming a fan of the festival's Facebook page.

Last year's roster featured Justice, Devotchka, Silversun Pickups, Band of Horses, TV on the Radio, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend, Neko Case, Del tha Funky Homosapien, The Kills, Tokyo Police Club, The Fratellis and Superdrag, among many others.
