LeAnn Rimes, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood Pitch In For Disaster Relief Effort

From Monday of this week (5/17) through Wednesday of next week (5/26), country music fans will have the opportunity to bid on a Las Vegas trip that includes dinner with LeAnn Rimes and a Rimes concert, a trip to Pittsburgh and backstage passes to the George Strait Country Music Festival or a pair of Trisha Yearwood 's shoes. Proceeds from the TNN-sponsored celebrity auction will benefit the Red Cross as they tend to disaster relief efforts following recent tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Other items up for bid include a trip for two to see the Judds' reunion concert in Phoenix, a cymbal autographed by Garth Brooks and a big-screen television donated by Billy Ray Cyrus.

The auction is being jointly coordinated by First Auction and TNN's Country.com web site. Bidders are directed to enter the auction through the country.com site.

Auction items will be displayed during this week's airings of Prime Time Country on TNN. Bidding will end next Wednesday and winners will be announced on the program next Thursday night.

The Rimes dinner and show winner will need to be able to attend her September 3-5 performance run at Las Vegas' Hilton.
