Bret Michaels [ tickets ] was injured Sunday (6/7) night during a performance at the 63rd annual Tony Awards, which were held at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

Michaels, who--along with his band Poison [ tickets ]--joined the cast of "Rock of Ages" as part of an elaborate closing performance, ran into a piece of scenery when his missed his mark after performing Poison's hit "Nothing' But a Good Time," according to a People.com report. Michaels was knocked to the ground and many in the audience speculated that he had broken his nose, but People reported that the Poison front man and "Rock of Love" reality star did not break his nose.

A spokesperson later told People that Michaels was a "trooper," hoping to hit some after-parties following some X-rays to determine the extent of his injuries.

Michaels' performance was part of a musical finale that starred Dolly Parton, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, and the casts of "West Side Story," "Guys and Dolls," "Pal Joey," "Shrek," "9 to 5: The Musical," "Next to Normal," "Rock of Ages" and "Billy Elliot."
