With a "show must go on" attitude, the iconic rock band Aerosmith is soldiering on. The band launched its four-month tour yesterday (6/10), despite the fact that guitarist Brad Whitford will be missing in action as he recovers from an unspecified surgery. In the meantime, guitarist Bobby Schneck will do his best to fill his shoes.
The Boston-born group is one of the few to remain active continuously since forming in 1970. In 2001, the band--which ranked at No. 57 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time--was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder caught up with Aerosmith in 2006 during the "Rockin' The Joint" tour's stop in Oakland, CA. Here are some of his shots.
