Craig David takes home three MOBO awards

LONDON--R&B singer Craig David was the top winner at the U.K.’s annual Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, which were announced on Wednesday (10/4) night at London's Alexandra Palace in London. He won in three out of the six categories he was nominated in: Best R&B Act, Best U.K. New Comer and Best U.K. Single.

American artists that scooped MOBO awards included Eminem , who won Best Hip-Hop Act, and Santana , who was tapped for Best World Music Act.

Other winners: Jamelia won Best Video for "Money," Gabrielle won Best U.K. Album for "Rise" and DJ Luck and MC Neat won Best U.K. Garage Act.
