Lenny Kravitz / Black Crowes Join For Spring Tour
Lenny Kravitz has announced an outdoor amphitheatre tour set to begin April 23rd at Los Angeles' Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. Kravitz will be joined on the tour by the Black Crowes, Everlast and Cree Summer. Following the 24-date run, Kravitz will begin a European tour.
The tour comes on the heels of Kravitz' recent Grammy win for Best Rock Performance for the song Fly Away. Kravitz' tourmates the Black Crowes and Everlast are both currently on the road, working their own recent releases.
Kravitz cancelled several performances in late 1998 while battling a recurring throat infection. His latest album, 5, has enjoyed retail success both in the US and abroad. According to Kravitz' publicists, the album has achieved gold or platinum sales awards in over 20 worldwide markets.
